Dear friends, To all the wonderful women who attended the Skills & Practices class this weekend, I am so grateful for your presence! Thank you all for attending and for opening up. If you missed the class, there will always be more opportunities to gather together for free. When we come together with strangers, I know that sharing can be a big lift. And you might ask, why do it. Why share my personal life with someone I don't really know? We could ask, who is the sharing for? It is not necessarily for the other person. Most of the time when we share intimate thoughts or vulnerable confessions, it is so that we may be seen. And when *I* am wanting to be seen, it is because I want to feel like a valuable member of a community. One woman asked such a wonderful question: what is the purpose of MotherCircle? Is it personal healing? Community building? This is one of the reasons: If motherhood makes us invisible to society (because we are at home doing the thankless and intangible work of mothering), then MotherCircle is a place to be seen for the great value that mothers (and grandmothers and aunties and sisters and all those who are raising children) contribute to our communities. Maybe you already know your worth as a person outside of motherhood (I struggle with it). But maybe you're carrying the immense burden of healing generational traumas - being the change maker. For you, MotherCircle may a place to understand mentally and embody physically those changes, a little bit at a time. And to learn to lean on each other where we find gaps in our capacity or skill. Because no one person can be all things. No one person will heal all of the generations of trauma in one lifetime. This is precisely why we need each other! MotherCircle is so many things: a sounding board for the unspoken... a landing place for the questions... a sandbox for difficult conversations... a mirror for our goodness... fertile ground for village building and village tending. If this speaks to you, I warmly welcome you to join the fall MotherCircle cohort. We will go deeper, wider and slower to cover more ground. In a world aching for village, grounding and truth, you may find clarity in your path of (r)evolution in a community of mothers. If you are ready to dive in, register here. If you have more questions, hit reply or visit the landing page. Blessings and stay grounded, PS. MotherCircle starts Sunday, Oct 5. We meet for 8 weeks at Find Your Flow. Pricing is based on a self-identifying sliding scale. Just so that you know all the ways I can support youLove what I offer? Please leave me a business review on Google or Yelp.

I'm a perinatal yoga teacher, doula and childbirth educator. If you make space for me in your inbox, I'll whisper my heart-felt musings on the making of Mother Culture through mothering.
Feminine Mysteries Oracle Dear friends, I was listening to some reporting on the radio about Linsday Clancey and how this is bringing forward the conversation about maternal mental health. My friend Rachel used the word revenant which is generally defined as someone who returns (to life). That she "returned" to expose an invisible but systemic flaw so that we might root out the problem. In the radio piece the expert said that this highlights the fact that there is nothing specific in the DSM...
Feminine Mysteries Oracle Dear friends, [from Dawn] Iβve started writing emails to you a few times in the last couple of weeks and every time I get stuck because thereβs something that needs to be said at the outset, but it feels like a hard thing to say because I could easily be misunderstood. I ask you to hear this with an open mind because I am saying it with an open heart. Iβve listened to a lot of people that I respect on this topic and Iβve tuned in to my inner sense of truth. Iβm...
Feminine Mysteries Oracle Dear friends, Today, we will introduce you to Veronica: Iβm Veronica, though some know me as Nomadic Oracle, Veronica Monique. I first picked up a tarot deck when I was seventeen out of pure curiosity. What I didnβt realize at the time was that tarot would become one of the tools that helped me better understand myself and the world around me. For as long as I can remember, Iβve been deeply sensitive to the emotions and energies of others. Tarot helped me develop...
